QinetiQ, advised by Curchod & Co and Lambert Smith Hampton, has let a 12,249 sq ft hybrid property at Cody Technology Park, Farnborough, Hampshire to Firebird Events Limited.
The events company has taken Building A2 G104-G114, a modern hybrid property, with storage and assembly accommodation, ancillary offices and 20 parking spaces, on a new five-year lease.
Philip Holmes, Senior Estates Surveyor at QinetiQ, said: “Firebird Events is an award-winning event management company and specialises in professional corporate events, working with many of the country’s leading brands. The firm required modern and flexible accommodation, that would suit its occupational needs, with good access to the transport network. Cody Technology Park was able to provide just this type of space, and the letting demonstrates the versatility of the buildings on offer here.”
Alex Blown, Graduate Surveyor of Curchod & Co, added: Firebird Events is growing business and we look forward to seeing the firm continue to thrive at Cody Technology Park.”
Josh Williams, Head of Production at Firebird Events, said: “Firstly, a big thank you to Curchod & Co for all your assistance acquiring our new Warehouse space at Cody Technology Park. We are settling in well and having the extra space, in such a secure environment, is perfect for our increasing need for additional warehousing.”

Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
