Dunsfold Park, advised by Curchod & Co, has let Unit 209 at the Simpson Buildings, Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh in Surrey, to W Series, the women’s motorsport series.
The 9,347 sq ft industrial property, which includes 1,289 sq ft of first floor offices, has been taken on a new lease and will be used as the focal point for the race series’ logistics and engineering operations.
Dave Ryan, racing director at W Series said: “We have a serious ambition to be a catalyst of change within motorsport. Our mission at W Series is to give female drivers an opportunity to participate in top-quality races with top-quality cars and the new facility at Dunsfold Park provides us with a first class property that reflects our ambitions.”
Richard Newsam of Curchod & Co added: “Named after Duncan Simpson OBE, the renowned fighter pilot and Hawker’s chief test pilot, the Simpson Buildings at Dunsfold Park have a proud heritage of cutting edge technology and design, and it is fitting that W Series, with its leading-edge engineering team, has chosen to locate its operations here.”
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
