Curchod & Co advises Woking Borough Council on successful retail letting

Woking Borough Council, advised by Curchod & Co, has let a 790 sq ft shop property at 4 Cleary Court, 169 Church Street East in Woking, Surrey to Amiee Rider.

The cake shop and tearoom occupier has taken the modern town centre, shop on a new five-year lease.

Kyran Copestick, a graduate surveyor at Curchod and Co, said: “There is currently an imbalance between supply and demand for smaller retail spaces in Woking and the market remains exceptionally strong, with the lack of available stock is causing upward pressure on rents.

“The local Church Street East will be elevated by the new cake shop and tearoom, generating footfall for this parade of shops close to the town’s main shopping centre,” he added.

Amiee Rider was unrepresented in the transaction.
