Curchod & Co put in a spirited performance in the Phillips Law inaugural 7-a-side football tournament, held at the Basingstoke Soccer Centre. The event, organized to raise funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, featured four teams battling it out in challenging wet and windy conditions.
Curchod & Co started strongly, securing a win against the tournament hosts, Phillips Law, in their first match. Their solid team play and determination on the pitch saw them through to the final. However, they faced a tough challenge against Jackson Wright Property in the deciding game and ultimately fell short.
The squad for Curchod & Co included Tom Clancy, Tom Nurton, Ed Rees, Keith Enters, Matthew Munday, Alex Blown, Harry Ford, Kyran Copestick, and Joe Smith, who all contributed to the team’s performance.
Despite the loss in the final, Curchod & Co can be proud of their efforts in the inaugural event, which succeeded in raising awareness and funds for a vital cause.
