Retail investment sold in Orpington town centre at 6.5% yield

A private trust, advised by Curchod & Co, has sold the investment at 340 High Street, Orpington, Kent, reflecting a gross initial yield of 6.5 per cent.

The property comprises a ground-floor retail unit with a self-contained residential flat above. The shop is let to Oxfam, with the residential element also fully occupied, offering a stable mixed-use income stream in a traditional town centre location.

Tom Nurton at Curchod & Co, commented: “There continues to be strong demand for retail with residential investments in this area, supported by the resilient performance of essential retailers.”
