A private property company, advised by Curchod & Co, has let a 3,738 sq ft shop property at 29-31 High Street, Weybridge in Surrey to ‘dar Lighting’, the well-known designer and distributor of domestic lighting.
The modern town centre retail unit has been taken on a new lease.
Gary Whitaker, Senior Surveyor of Curchod & Co, said: “This is a significant deal and the arrival of a high profile, national occupier is both good news for Weybridge and evidence of the bounce back from the pandemic. There is continuing high demand for retail premises in Weybridge and the surrounding area.”
The property is situated in a prime High Street trading position close to Waitrose and other national retailers including Boots, Sweaty Beatty, Holland & Barrett and Cafe Nero.
Dar Lighting was unrepresented in the transaction.
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
