Overthorpe Limited, represented by Curchod & Co and Clive Emson Auctioneers, has sold the freehold of 43 Biggin Street in Dover to Ideas Unlimited Limited.
The property, with ground floor retail accommodation and three upper floors, totals 2,450 sq ft, was sold for £165,000 in November 2018. The property was sold before auction achieving a figure in excess of the guide price.
Katie Hemblade of Curchod & Co said: “Located in central Dover, the sale represented a rare opportunity to acquire a property within the main thoroughfare of the town with close proximity to local amenities and development potential.”
“Though lapsed, planning permission was previously granted for the change of use of part of the upper floors into three flats,” she added.
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
