M7 Real Estate Ltd, advised by Curchod & Co, has renewed the lease of Plot 2, Caker Stream Road, Alton, Hampshire, a 27,400 sq ft industrial property occupied by Pinnacle Foods.
The food processing business has secured the self-contained property on a new 15-year lease.
Nick Reeve at Curchod & Co, said: “While the occupational market has slowed compared with the buoyant conditions of recent years, this transaction demonstrates that landlords are increasingly able to rebalance rents at lease renewal and rent review.
“In this instance, there was a 26% rental uplift, reflecting the significant growth across the industrial sector over the past five years,” he added.
