Fleet office building sold for residential conversion

Curchod & Co, acting on behalf of the vendor, has sold Fyfe House in St James Road, Fleet, Hampshire, to a private developer for £400,000.

The self-contained two-storey office building, which totals 2,504 sq ft, was marketed as a rare freehold opportunity and attracted interest from both investors and developers. The purchaser intends to convert the property into residential accommodation.

Alex Blown of Curchod & Co commented: “We received a strong level of enquiries due to the property’s central location and development potential. The sale reflects the ongoing demand for office buildings suitable for conversion, particularly in commuter towns like Fleet.”

Fyfe House comprises mainly open-plan office accommodation across two floors, complete with air conditioning. It also has five parking spaces and is located within walking distance of Fleet’s mainline railway station and the town centre amenities.
