Cook savours a larger retail slice in Farnham.

A private investor, advised by Curchod & Co, has successfully let Seven Stars House, a 2,900 sq ft retail property at 88 East Street, in Farnham, Surrey.

The prominent shop unit has been acquired by Cook, the well-known food retailer on a ten-year lease at an annual rent of £65,000, (£22.41 per sq ft).

Alex Blown, of Curchod & Co, said, “While many across the UK are familiar with the Cook brand, few may be aware that Farnham was home to the business’ inaugural store in 1997. Cook has maintained a consistent presence in the town since then.

“As Cook transitions to a more spacious and efficient retail property, while still preserving their central town presence, this move signifies its commitment to Farnham,” he added.

Cook was represented by Cradik Retail in the letting.
