LondonMetric lets 1,250 sq ft retail pod to fast food operator Wingers

  • Fried chicken brand adds extra sizzle to Andover’s Columbus Quarter

LondonMetric Property PLC, advised by Curchod & Co, has let a 1,250 sq ft out-of-town-retail property at Unit B Columbus Quarter, Columbus Way, Andover in Hampshire to Wingers.

The Fast Food Restaurant has taken the modern retail unit property on a new ten-year lease, with Andover being their 16th restaurant in the UK.

Tom Clancy, Associate Partner of Curchod & Co, said: “Wingers’ commitment to the Columbus Quarter not only adds to the tenant mix and variety of offers available to consumers, it further enhances its convenience-led offer. It also confirms the strength of demand for modern roadside retail properties across the south-east of England.

“The brand’s rapid growth and high-quality fit-out will significantly add to the vibrancy of the Columbus Quarter,” he added.

Other operators at the out-of-town retail park include Starbucks, Greggs and Lidl.

Wingers was represented by FHP in Birmingham.
