£47,000 Business Rates rebate secured for a Curchod & Co client

Curchod & Co has helped a client recover a £47,000 rebate on their business rates.

During a conversation with a client regarding an office property in Gomshall Lane, Shere near Guildford, that Curchod & Co was marketing for Shere Manor Estates, it was mentioned in passing that there was an issue the client was having attempting to resolve a dispute with the Valuation Office regarding an incorrect business rates listing of part of the estate’s offices at High House Farm.

Kyran Copestick of Curchod & Co in Woking suggested a dialogue was opened with the firm’s associated rating expert and, within two months of being instructed, a rebate on the business rates rebate, which had accumulated over a ten-year period, of £47,000 was agreed with the Valuation Office.
