The Old Stick Factory in Chiddingfold fully let following industrial property lettings

  • Rural industrial properties snapped up as Curchod & Co secures five tenants for the 15,000 sq ft at The Old Stick Factory

A private landlord, advised by Curchod & Co has let five separate units at The Old Stick Factory in Chiddingfold, Surrey meaning that the property is now fully let as a multi-let estate after years of being occupied by a single tenant.

The property, previously occupied by a single tenant for many years, presented a significant void when vacated. However, a successful repositioning of the asset, secured the five lettings, on varying lease terms, at rents exceeding £12.50 per sq ft, reflecting a substantial uplift in rental values for the local market.

Commenting on the success, Alex Blown of Curchod & Co said: “This was a challenging project, but by implementing a targeted marketing strategy and highlighting the property’s unique rural appeal, we were able to secure several tenants and achieve an excellent rent for our client.”
