Pizza Express renews lease in Farnham’s Castle Street on a 15-year term

  • A further slice of success for Farnham’s food and beverage scene

Curchod & Co has advised a private investment trust on the lease renewal of the Pizza Express restaurant in Castle Street, Farnham.

The well-known restaurant has committed to a new 15-year lease with a tenant break option after eleven years. The renewal sees the rent increase by 32.5% compared to the previous lease.

Nick Reeve of Curchod & Co said: “This renewal underlines Farnham’s growing reputation as one of Surrey’s leading food and beverage destinations. The significant uplift in rent from the previous level reflects the level of demand from operators keen to secure space in the town.”

The property is prominently located in Castle Street, one of Farnham’s prime leisure pitches, which has attracted a growing mix of national and independent restaurant operators in recent years.
