Macmillan relocate to Cromwell Place

Cromwell Pace, comprising 31,800 sq ft (2,954 sq m), has been let to two divisions of Macmillan Publishers.

Cromwell Place is on Hampshire International Business Park to the north of Chineham Park but latterly fell surplus to requirements. Macmillan launched a search for a new office as a result of deciding to sell their existing Houndmills facility for redevelopment purposes.

London Clancy negotiated a new ten year lease period, with a fifth year break clause and rent review. The rent agreement remains confidential, but is understood to include the re-use of most of the furniture, fixtures and fittings.

The availability of Cromwell place proved very timely for our client, it was a good match and enabled Macmillan to sell their existing site in Houndmills for redevelopment
