A private landlord, advised by Curchod & Co, has let an 11,520 sq. ft industrial unit at 1 Passfield Mill Business Park, Passfield, near Liphook in Hampshire.
The commercial property agency negotiated a new ten-year lease with Amey Plastics, which simultaneously enabled the outgoing tenant, Harvey Imports, to surrender its existing lease on the premises.
The unit was taken by the plastic injection moulding and tool making business at an annual rent of £125,000 per annum (£11.20 per sq ft). The transaction brings a new long-term occupier to a well-established business park location in the Hampshire market.
Matthew Munday of Curchod & Co said: “Securing a ten-year commitment from a new occupier, while simultaneously facilitating the outgoing tenant’s surrender, was a positive outcome for all parties. It demonstrates the kind of pragmatic deal-making that keeps stock moving in a tight market.”
The property benefits from an external yard and parking area, together with two loading doors. Passfield Mill Business Park is an established commercial destination serving occupiers across the Bordon and Liphook area of northeast Hampshire.
