Bond’s Basingstoke secures retail unit in Festival Place

Award-winning Gentleman’s Barbershops chain is a cut above in Festival Place

MDSR Investments, advised by Curchod & Co LLP, has let a 1,440 sq ft retail property at Unit 10 Kensington House, Festival Place, Basingstoke, to ‘Bond’s Basingstoke’, marking the award-winning barbershop’s eleventh location.

The unit has been taken on a new lease at an undisclosed rent. The property occupies a prime position within the town centre shopping centre and will house the brand’s latest barbershop, which offers a traditional grooming service currently not represented within Festival Place.

Tom Clancy, Associate Partner at Curchod & Co LLP, commented: “Securing Bond’s Basingstoke as a tenant strengthens Festival Place’s appeal by introducing a high-quality independent operator with a proven track record. Their commitment to traditional service fills a gap in the centre’s offer and is a strong addition to the tenant mix.”

Festival Place is Basingstoke’s principal retail destination, benefitting from strong footfall and excellent transport links, including Basingstoke railway station and adjacent car parking.
Bond’s Basingstoke was unrepresented in the transaction.
