Curchod & Co has donated food supplies to St James’ Church in Weybridge and Basingstoke Food Bank as part of its seasonal support for local community groups.
Staff across the firm’s offices collected items in the run-up to December, focusing on everyday essentials that food banks say are most needed at this time of year.
David Bowen, Managing Partner at Curchod & Co, said the team wanted to play a small part in helping local families.
“Food banks see a rise in demand in the weeks before Christmas, so it felt right to do what we could. Our offices sit in the middle of the communities where we work and many of our clients live. Supporting the local food banks is a straightforward way to help people who are having a difficult winter.
“The collections were driven by the team, and it has been good to see everyone get involved.”
Both St James’ Church and Basingstoke Food Bank will distribute the donations to individuals and families who have been referred for emergency support.
