Acting on behalf of StModwen plc, Curchod and Co has completed a letting to bring one of the UK’s leading specialist online fishmongers, The Fish Society, to its Henley Business Park scheme in Surrey – the region’s largest commercial regeneration project.
The Fish Society has signed a 10-year lease on a 12,448 sq ft unit and is expected to bring 16 jobs to the park.
Henley Business Park boasts eight high-specification units totalling 310,000 sq ft and provides an excellent location for regional industrial and logistics businesses.
The scheme is already home to award-winning events business, The Technical Department, leading logistics firm, Diamond Logistics and community equipment provider, Millbrook Healthcare.
Gemma Butler, Development and Leasing Manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said: “The ability for St. Modwen to provide high-quality industrial and logistics units to such a wide variety of businesses is what attracts such established tenants to their schemes. The location and facilities provided are testament to this.”
David Bowen of Curchod and Co., commented: “Henley Business Park is a key scheme within the region and has played an important role in the redevelopment of the area. The impact of Covid-19 hasn’t obstructed our ability to attract new businesses to our schemes and we look forward to welcoming The Fish Society to the scheme.”
Alistair Blair, Founder of The Fish Society, said: “We are a small business that’s experienced rapid growth in recent years, owing to our requirement for additional space. Henley Business Park was the prestigious address we were after and we knew we wanted to be based here as soon as we saw it. The scheme is well-located, with a good talent pool nearby and is very convenient for distribution. This is the perfect place for our company’s next phase.”
The last 3 units of the Henley Business Park re- development remain available. Further details available from David Bowen, firstname.lastname@example.org
