Hawaiian sunglass manufacturer Maui Jim, represented by Curchod & Co, has taken 8,253 sq ft of industrial space at 15 The Pines in Guildford, on a new 10-year lease at an annual rent of £85,000 (£10.30 per sq ft) from USS.
David Bowen of Curchod and Co, who advised on the transaction, said: “This acquisition is part of Maui Jim’s expansion and follows a relocation within Guildford. The property at The Pines will accommodate the business’ UK head office and warehouse facility and reflects their requirement for a high quality facility.”
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
