Curchod & Co appoints Thomas Nurton

Curchod & Co appoints Thomas Nurton

Curchod & Co has appointed Thomas Nurton as a Graduate Surveyor at the firm’s office in Woking. Thomas will work alongside Curchod & Co Partner Richard Newsam.

Thomas has recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth where he received a First-Class Honours Batchelor of Science degree in Property Development (an RICS accredited course). Thomas also won the Daniells Harrison Chartered Surveyors Prize in recognition of Kathy Kapakli – for Best Research and Individual Project Student in Property Surveying. The award was created by Daniells Harrison in conjunction with the University of Portsmouth’s Property Department (part of the School of Civil Engineering and Surveying).

During his time at Portsmouth he gained experience of the commercial property market when he worked with Holloway Iliffe and Mitchell, a firm of chartered surveyors active in the M27 corridor.

Richard Newsam commented: “Thomas has a huge enthusiasm for all aspects of the commercial property sector and is certain to be a major asset to our growing business and to our clients across the South East of England.”

Thomas lives in Sandhurst. He enjoys 5-a-side football and is a self-declared “football nut” who supports Arsenal.

Surrey & Hampshire property specialists

Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
