Mixed-use investment sold in Surbiton, Surrey

AE Thorogood Investments, represented by Curchod & Co, has sold the freehold investment of 306 Ewell Road in Surbiton, Surrey to a private investor for £1,180,000.

The 3,577 sq ft mixed retail and residential property includes a double-fronted shop unit and three self-contained residential properties that produce a total annual rental Income of £70,100.

The ground floor retail property is let until October 2030.

Alex Blown of Curchod & Co said: “Despite the widespread pessimism in the wider economy, this sale of a mixed-use asset, in a great location at a strong price shows there is still a market for this sort of asset, particularly when there is an element of residential with minimal capital expenditure required.”
