Curchod & Co brings trio of Winchester retail units to the market, offering choice across the city centre

Commercial property agency Curchod & Co has launched three new retail units to let in Winchester, giving occupiers a range of options across the city’s prime trading pitches, from the historic High Street to the busy Jewry Street ring road.

The three opportunities cater to a variety of retailer requirements in terms of size, configuration and location, reflecting continued occupier interest in Winchester’s well-established city centre retail offer.

122 High Street, a prime trading unit totalling 751 sq ft arranged over ground and first floors, available from October 2026 at £57,500 per annum. The ground floor provides an open-plan sales area with a rear stockroom, while the first floor offers ancillary office and staff space. The unit sits in a strong trading location, neighbouring Tesco Express, Trailfinders, Vodafone, Fat Face and Pret A Manger.

88/89 High Street is a larger, prominent unit of 1,922 sq ft across ground and basement floors, quoting £80,000 per annum. The premises benefit from a wide, prominent glazed shopfront fronting the busy Southgate Street junction, within the unpedestrianised section of the High Street, and is just a five-minute walk from Winchester railway station.

Finally, 26 Jewry Street, which is a 942 sq ft ground floor lock-up shop within an attractive Grade II Listed building. Available from August 2026 at £40,000 per annum, the unit occupies a prominent corner position at the junction of Jewry Street, City Road, North Walls and Hyde Street (part of Winchester’s one-way ring road system) and benefits from an extensive return frontage of 17.09 metres, providing strong visibility and natural light. Nearby occupiers include Josie’s, Anytime Fitness, The Co-op and Romans Estate Agents.

Commenting on the three properties, Tom Clancy of Curchod & Co said, “Winchester remains one of the most resilient and sought-after retail markets in Hampshire, and we’re pleased to be bringing such a varied selection of units to the market at once. Whether occupiers are looking for a classic High Street pitch, a larger format unit with basement storage, or a prominent corner position on the ring road, these three instructions offer genuine choice in terms of size, specification and location.”
