Northwood Investors, advised by Curchod & Co and Hollis Hockley, has let 9,453 sq ft of office accommodation on the first floor of Block B at Spectrum Point, Farnborough, to satellite communications company MDA Space.
The letting represents an expansion of MDA Space’s existing presence at the scheme. The company already occupies 9,144 sq ft on the ground floor of Block B, bringing its total footprint at Spectrum Point to over 18,500 sq ft. The additional space provides office accommodation suited to the tenant’s satellite communications operations.
Josie Reeves, Senior Surveyor, Curchod & Co, commented: “MDA Space’s (former SatixFy) decision to expand within Spectrum Point reflects both the quality of the accommodation and the strength of the location. It is increasingly common for occupiers to grow within schemes where the environment and infrastructure genuinely support their business, and Spectrum Point continues to attract and retain exactly the kind of high-calibre tenants that reflect Farnborough’s strong reputation for technology-based businesses.”
