Homeware retailer takes 4,257 sq ft at Festival Place, Basingstoke shop

  • Purely Home makes itself at home in Hampshire

MDSR Investments, advised by Curchod & Co, has let a 4,257 sq ft shop at Units 18/19 Chelsea House, Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke, Hampshire, to Purely Home.

The household and homeware retailer has taken the modern, town centre unit on a new five-year lease.

The retail space comprises ground and basement floors and features a prominent double frontage at the busy Wote Street entrance, linking the “Top of Town” with Festival Place.

Tom Clancy, Associate Partner at Curchod & Co, commented: “Purely Home is an exciting new addition to Festival Place and further broadens the tenant mix in the scheme. This letting underlines the strong demand for well-positioned retail units.”

Festival Place benefits from direct access to Basingstoke railway station and nearby car parking, with a wide mix of retail and leisure operators already established in the scheme.
