This graduate commercial agency surveyor role is a key position within the agency team which is a significant area of our business.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be working within the agency team as a graduate surveyor. Guidance and training will be provided and the role will offer a fantastic opportunity to put theory learned at university into practice.

The role will involve all aspects of commercial agency and landlord and tenant consultancy.  You will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of our clients property disposals and lettings, (industrial, office, retail, investment, and land), undertake viewings with purchases and potential tenants, and in time take on new disposal / leasing instructions to create your own portfolio of clients and instructions. You will also assist on rent review / lease renewal jobs and keep our applicant database up to date.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dealing with inbound property enquiries and marketing / promotion of our clients properties
• Undertaken property viewings
• Assisting the Chartered Surveyors with their duties
• Reporting to clients
• Liaising with all stakeholders
• Measuring and inspecting buildings
• Assisting with the property valuation and Landlord & Tenant teams
• Updating our applicants database

• An understanding of buildings and how they function

Qualifications:

• A property related degree would be useful but is not essential

Professional Development:

• We encourage all staff to work towards becoming Chartered Surveyors and provide a tried and tested training plan to support them through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
