A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Richard qualified as a General Practice Surveyor in 2001 and has worked in Surrey for over 25 years, predominantly handling the acquisition and disposal of commercial premise acting on behalf of local occupiers and Institutional Investors.

He joined Curchod & Co in 2009 to expand the commercial property department and became a Partner in 2011.

Nick is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years of experience in commercial property consultancy. He began his career at Wadham & Isherwood, where he became a partner and co-owner before leading the firm through its successful merger with Curchod & Co LLP in 2018. Since then, Nick has played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business.

He specialises in the acquisition, disposal, and lease advisory of commercial property, with a particular focus on the industrial, logistics, and office sectors across the South East. Nick is known for his commercially driven, solutions-focused approach—helping clients unlock value through expert negotiation, market insight, and strategic advice.

Nick is based in the Farnham office and is actively involved in advising on larger-scale instructions across the M3 corridor and wider South East region.

Outside of work, Nick is a keen surfer and enjoys swimming, running, walking his dog, and spending time in the mountains.

Piers is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years experience of advising on commercial property in the South East of England. Prior to joining Curchod & Co, Piers was a principal and Head of South East Offices at Avison Young, director and Head of Office Agency at Capita Plc and a national director at JLL. He began his career at King Sturge in 2000 and became a partner in 2008 before the merger with JLL.

Piers specialises in the South East office market, acting for funds, developers, investors and property companies. He also advises a wide range of occupiers, from large global occupiers to SMEs and small start-up companies, in the acquisition of office space.

He has acted on some of the region’s premier office schemes, including:

Piers also has significant experience as an Expert Witness on matters of employment use and office space in the South East. This work normally revolves around a change of use, viability and demand matters. Projects, where he has appeared as an Expert Witness, include the planning inquiry on the ERA Site, Cleeve Road, Leatherhead and at the online planning inquiry for Tolworth Tower on behalf of the appellant.

Piers also has extensive occupier experience, having represented several corporate clients including GSK, Cubix PSI, Capita, Thales, Network Rail, O2, Orange, Pfizer and Brewin Dolphin.

Based in the Weybridge office, Jessica is a partner at Curchod & Co, having joined the firm in early 2014. She has worked in residential & commercial property management for over 12 years and is a qualified member of ARLA Propertymark and an Associate of the RICS.

Jessica leads our Commercial & AST Residential Property Management team and is currently responsible for a number of portfolios across the UK encompassing commercial, mixed-use, residential investment blocks let on Assured Shorthold Tenancies & Regulated Tenancies.  Her wealth of knowledge and experience has been instrumental in the expansion of our property management department. Jessica specialises in mixed-use sites encompassing a range of Commercial tenants & Residential AST tenants with potential redevelopment opportunities.

Notable successes include:
• Successfully supporting a client through the re-development of a mixed-use building in Shepperton, Middlesex and enabling the building to increase in worth to over £1.5 million
• Purchasing residential properties with development potential for a large overseas client to improve his residential property portfolio in the UK
• Supporting a client with reducing their overheads across their whole portfolio by restructuring the Service Charge requirements

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys cycling, running and watching cricket at Lords.

A Chartered Surveyor, and RICS Registered Valuer, with over 15 years’ experience working in commercial property consultancy, Keith began his career at Dreweatt Neate in Andover, Hampshire and is a director in the Basingstoke office.

As a general practice surveyor, Keith has a wide experience in all aspects of agency transactions and professional work including rent reviews, lease renewals and valuations. His core area of operation is across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey where he has built a wide range of clients including:

Away from work, Keith enjoys running, cricket, holidays and spending time with his family.

Sharen joined Curchod & Co in 2016 and leads the firm’s accounts team, where she is responsible for both client and business accounts.

With a broad, primarily property-based accounting background, Sharen has experience in both corporate and small business environments. Her extensive knowledge and experience in Service Charge accounts has been instrumental in the growth of the property management department.

In her free time, Sharen is an avid learner of Spanish and a regular gym-goer. She is also a dedicated supporter of the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and can often be found at the stadium for home games.

Victoria joined the team in 2009 and has steadily developed her skills and industry knowledge, becoming a highly respected and experienced Property Manager. She is a strong advocate for property owners, maintaining long-standing relationships across her portfolio and consistently delivering a high standard of service. Her deep understanding of property legislation and safety regulations ensures that clients remain compliant and well-informed in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.

Victoria’s proactive approach and attention to detail make her an essential part of the Commercial & Residential Property Management team. She is known for her reliability, professionalism, and ability to manage complex portfolios with confidence and care. Her commitment to excellence and client satisfaction is evident in every aspect of her work, from day-to-day management to strategic portfolio development.

Victoria continues to be a driving force behind the success of the department, and her contributions are highly valued by both colleagues and clients alike.

Katie qualified as a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in October 2016 and as an RICS Registered Valuer in 2018. Katie joined Curchod and Co commercial property team in Weybridge and Woking at in 2014, having spent previous years working in the property industry in estate agency in Surrey.

Katie is a multi-disciplinary chartered surveyor within the commercial property team and is responsible for matters relating to commercial property professional work, primarily valuations for pension funds, asset management, taxation and accounting purposes, lease renewals and rent reviews, as well as advisory work including acquisitions and disposals for specific clients.

• Disposing of a portfolio of commercial and residential regulated tenancies freehold investment properties on behalf of a management client
• Joint expert witness valuation report of a complex portfolio of mixed-use properties

Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, and likes the great outdoors, including running when she gets the chance!

Alex is a Chartered Surveyor with several years of experience providing agency and investment advice across all sectors in the commercial property market. Since joining Curchod & Co in 2019, he has attained specialist knowledge of the West Surrey, East Hampshire and Blackwater Valley markets along with a focus on investment activities across the South East.

• Acquisition of Racks Court, Guildford consisting of 24 fully let residential units

Alex is also member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and has a Cambridge Finance Certificate in Real Estate Financial Modelling

Tom Nurton is an Associate Partner and Chartered Surveyor who is based in the Basingstoke Office. Tom has previous experience working in both the Woking and Weybridge offices at Curchod & Co.

Tom studied Property Development (an RICS accredited course) at the University of Portsmouth from 2015 and graduated in July 2019 with a First-Class Honours degree. During his university studies, Tom undertook a 14-month sandwich placement at Holloway Illife & Mitchell in Portsmouth from June 2017 to July 2018, where he worked within the Commercial Property industry dealing mainly with Commercial Agency, and also assisted with Property Management and Valuation tasks. Tom joined Curchod & Co in July 2019 and in November 2021, he passed his RICS APC interview and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. Tom got promoted to an Associate Partner in April 2024.

Tom’s job role is based with dealing with Commercial Property Agency matters including: Acquisitions, Lettings, Investments and Sales, as well as dealing with Commercial Property Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals.

• A member of the Agency Team at the Industrial Estate known as Kingsland Business Park, Basingstoke (estate of 40 units ranging from 4,500 sq ft up to 71,000 sq ft) on behalf of Legal and General Assurance (Pensions Management) Ltd.
• Completed various Commercial Property Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews for Landlords within the Curchod & Co Commercial Property Management portfolio and for external clients.
• Acted on behalf of MGN Events Ltd to assist them in acquiring a Light Industrial unit in Windsor, which is 6,037 sq ft.
• Acted on behalf of London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) on various retail lettings at Brighton Hill Shopping Centre and on Wote Street, both in Basingstoke.
• Involved with the Sale at the Land at Station Road in Hook (0.349 acres approx.)
• On behalf of the Landlord dealt with the surrender of a lease to Santander and a simultaneous grant of a new lease to Pret A Manger at the retail premises known as Unit 2, 9-11 High Street, Weybridge.
• Assisted the Commercial Management team where he gained experience within this department from June 2021 to May 2022.

Outside of work, Tom is a massive football fan who supports Arsenal FC and plays 5-a-side football on a weekly basis. Tom also enjoys running and has completed numerous half marathons. He enjoys spending time away down on the coast of England.

Tom is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer based in Basingstoke.

Tom joined London Clancy in 2016, whilst studying a part time Real Estate Management Masters course at the University of Portsmouth, and successfully qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2022.

Tom is a general practice surveyor, being made an Associate Partner in April 2025, splitting his time with Agency instructions, lease advisory and Valuation.

In his free time, Tom is an avid fan of Southampton FC and enjoys being active outdoors. He achieved a significant personal accomplishment by completing the London Marathon.

Kyran Copestick, a Chartered Surveyor, has been an integral part of Curchod & Co since July 2021, operating from the Woking and Weybridge offices. He brings a strong academic foundation and practical experience to his role, having earned a Second-Class Honours Upper Division degree in BSc (Hons) Real Estate (RICS Accredited) from Nottingham Trent University in the same month he joined the firm.

Prior to graduating, Kyran gained valuable industry experience during his sandwich year placement with the Affordable Housing Team at Jones Lang LaSalle in Birmingham.

Building on this foundation, he achieved his RICS Chartership in May 2024.

At Curchod & Co, Kyran specialises in the lettings and sales market in Woking and Weybridge. His expertise also spans valuation and Landlord & Tenant matters, showcasing his versatility and comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry.

Notable Recent Achievements:

• Freehold Investment Sale: Facilitated the sale of a self-contained, three-storey office building at 51 Staines Road West, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. The 7,309 sq ft property was sold for £1.45 million, reflecting a net yield of 8.31%.
• Record Office Sale: Oversaw the freehold sale of Grade II listed offices at Moor Place Lodge, Esher, achieving a record vacant possession price in Surrey of £826 per sq ft, with a total sale price of £1.1 million.
• Prestigious Lettings: Managed the letting of the High House Farms estate in Shere, comprising 8,632 sq ft of converted barns transformed into high-end office accommodations, successfully leasing the space between five new tenants.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Kyran maintains an active lifestyle. He enjoys going to the gym and participating in boxing and kickboxing classes at the local UFC gym. A passionate traveller, he spends weekends exploring new towns and cities with friends, embracing opportunities to experience new environments and cultures.
