The challenge
Goldsworth Park District Centre is a mixed use purpose built development comprising a supermarket, retail units, public house, petrol filling station, medical centre and Woking Same Beare Hospice. Curchod & Co were appointed in April 2020 as managing agents for the individual units and service charge of the site. We were also instructed to undertake outstanding rent review and lease renewals.

Our approach
- A full review of the service charge, current and past budgets to understand the outstanding, ongoing and planned maintenance required for the site
- Reviewing all contracts on site and tendering out for a full review
- Providing professional and valuation advice in relation to the rent reviews and lease renewals
- Undertaking a marketing campaign to secure new tenants when units become vacant

Curchod & Co LLP have produced a planned maintenance programme for the next 1-2, 5 & 10 years to ensure a smooth running and upkeep of the busy site. This allows for the service charge budget to be effectively run.
