Curchod & Co is pleased to announce the successful sales of both Westward House and Unit 10 Westward House, Glebeland Road, Camberley, to Wilson Electrical Distributor Limited. Westward House was originally brought to market on a leasehold basis before a sale was agreed and subsequently concluded.
Westward House comprising approximately 6,000 sq ft of office and warehouse accommodation over 3 floors was initially marketed to let, providing flexible business space in a well-established commercial location. During the marketing process it became apparent that a freehold acquisition would be a more suitable route for the eventual purchaser, and terms were subsequently agreed for the sale.
Importantly, while progressing the sale of Westward House, Curchod & Co were also instructed to market neighbouring Unit 10 – Westward House, a detached warehouse and office building extending to approximately 2,530 sq ft. Wilson Electrical Distributor Limited recognised the opportunity to acquire both assets and subsequently agreed terms to purchase Unit 10 as well.
The transactions provide the purchaser with a significant presence on the Yorktown Industrial Estate and demonstrates the value of maintaining close dialogue with buyers throughout the marketing and transactional process.
