Robin Moran
Robin joined Curchod & Co in May 2022. He is a graduate of the University of Natal, and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Robin practised as an attorney before joining leading South African property services company, JHI Property Services Group in 1992. Robin has over 30 years of commercial real estate management experience. He served as a director of JHI Group (Natal) (Pty) Ltd, as JHI Real Estate Limited’s Group Legal Advisor and as a director of JHI Real Estate Limited. He managed the Group’s Kwazulu-Natal region commercial property management and agency business until mid-2017, delivering property management solutions, working closely with private property owners and asset managers of listed property funds, to ensure efficient management and optimum growth in value of client portfolios. Clients included private owners, listed property funds and financial institutions. He then joined the JT Ross Property Group as head of property management. More recently he has worked as an independent commercial property consultant.
Rob has specialised in retail and commercial property management, leasing and property acquisitions/disposals.
His work achievements include Transaction management – overseeing the disposal/acquisition of a number of retail centres for clients. Played a key role in the assembly of a property portfolio for listing of a property fund on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Robin’s interests outside of work include current affairs and sport.
