Duncan Firstbrook is a Chartered Building Surveyor qualifying as a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2002. Valuable experience has been gained in both the Construction and Building Surveying industry over the last 20 years.
Duncan’s building surveying career commenced in 1996 for the Integrated Design Consultancy in Reading specialising in wide range of core Building Surveying duties before completing a Building Surveying Degree at University of Brighton.
Following successful completion of a degree in Building Surveying – Duncan has worked for a number of high quality companies including the Frankham Consultancy Group, Malcolm Hollis, Vail Williams and Lambert Smith Hampton. Duncan joined Curchod and Co in September 2019.
During Duncan’s professional career valuable experience has been achieved for all core Building Surveying services on all types of commercial properties and clients.
Clients have included International Airlines, investment organisations, financial institutions, Formula 1 teams, Universities, individual landlords, tenants and other professional companies. Instructions continue to be undertaken for clients including:-
Duncan’s experience includes vacant and occupied premises in commercial buildings. Further experience has been gained with large Formula 1 sites, Universities and Telecoms centres. Specialist fields have been established in Dilapidations and Contract Administration roles and Fire Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments throughout the South of England.
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed.
