Curchod & Co has appointed Max Williams as a trainee surveyor to its team in Farnham. His surveying apprenticeship will enable Max to study as a Chartered Surveyor while gaining practical experience of the commercial property industry.
Max will deal with all aspects of the commercial property market including agency, property management, valuations and professional work.
Nick Reeve of Curchod & Co said: “The main advantage of an apprenticeship such as this is that the trainee surveyor is exposed to a number of different aspects of the property industry, while gaining valuable practical experience ‘at the coalface’.
“Max already has a good knowledge and understanding of what is involved as his father, the late Ken Williams, was one of the best known practitioners in the Surrey and Hampshire market, having been a founding partner of Vail Williams in the 1980s.”
Max lived in Spain for over eight years, where he attended Sotograde International School, and is fluent in Spanish. He now lives in Basingstoke.
Any time we start something new it is exciting and we are very motivated and committed. As time goes by, however, the burst of enthusiasm can wane as the reality of how much work is going to be involved kicks in. When you find yourself slacking a little and not being as enthused about the new change or goal you are working towards, that isn’t a sign to quit. It is a sign that it is time to re-commit.
