Commercial Property Manager, to service existing client base predominantly commercial property work with some Residential Block (ancillary to the commercial portfolio). The role will be based within our Basingstoke office covering portfolios within the Hampshire and Surrey area, dealing with all aspects of property management.
The successful candidate will be expected to service the existing workload and help grow the managed portfolio, whether this be through your existing contacts or new contacts made when appointed.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking & processing of management invoices
Maintenance co-ordination on a day-to-day basis
Property Inspections
Ensuring all statutory obligations are complied with including, EPC’s, H&S, FRA’s & EICR
Managing communal areas of commercial or residential buildings
Logging & processing Insurance Claims
Reporting to clients
Liaising with all stakeholders
Managing rent collection and arrears recovery
Checking insurance policies to ensure the policy is correct and ensure re-build sum insured report is carried out within the require timeframes
Managing major works alongside a chartered surveyor
Dealing with all aspects of Service Charge’s (Budgeting, Reconciliations)
Dispute resolution
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent time management and organisation skills

Knowledge of property management and all regulations
Excellent telephone manner
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
An understanding of buildings and how they function
Qualifications:
Assoc RICS or MRICS but not essential
Essential Experience:
Full understanding of property management for Commercial property
Word & excel
Preferred Experience:
Qube Software
Tramps Software
Computer literate with experience of property management software
Professional Development:
Training on our property management system
