Project Management

- Management and co-ordination of the professional, contractor and client teams.
- Planning and programming from inception to completion.
- Assessment of the design process.
- Monitoring of the construction phase.
- Applicable to new build, extension, repair and refurbishment schemes of offices, shops, industrial premises and dwellings.
Construction Design and Administration
- A complete or bespoke range of professional services to suit the project's complexity and client requirement.
- Suited to new build, extension, repair and refurbishment on all building types.
- Design services including client brief, outline proposals, detailed design including drawings and specifications.
- Town Planning and Building Regulations submissions.
- Budget Advice and Tendering to contractors.
- Contract administration including contract placement, variations to scope of works, certification of progress and payments, cost accounting.
- Monitoring of works in progress by periodic site vists.
CDM Coordinator
- Our Chartered Building Surveyors provide services as CDM Coordinator for all HSE notifiable projects either in conjunction with our general construction and administration functions, or for larger shemes, as an independent role.
- Clients have a responsibility to ensure their project meets required Health and Safety safety standards as part of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007.
- The CDM Coordinator replaces the old role of Planning Supervisor.
- Our role includes:
- client advice on duties.
- notification to the HSE.
- coordination of the design and planning for health and safety.
- identification, management and communication of pre construction information to all parties.
- advice on sufficiency of the construction phase plan.
- production of the health and safety file for the building owner's future use.
Feasibility Studies
- Professional advice on the viability and suitablility of a proposed scheme.
- Appraisal of an existing structure for potential alteration i.e loadbearing walls.
- Advice on budgets and timescales.
- Guidance on the web of regulations and consents required.
